Wildfire: 70 Percent Contained, But Winds, Heat Returning

CONIFER, Colo. -- Firefighters building the last 3.5 miles of lines to contain a wildfire southwest of Denver will work against warm temperatures and forecasts for gusts expected to pick up around noon Saturday.

Jefferson County has tightened its fire restrictions to temporarily ban anything producing an open flame in unincorporated parts of the county, including federal land.
